Secret Bulalo

Did you know that there is a bulaluhan hiding inside clark's air force city base? My father 1st brought us here years ago, and they really served one of the best homecooked bulalo...

I've been asking Arnel several times before to bring me back here, until one day when we went to Clark to watch a drag race, we tagged along with our friends and to my surprise, we landed here... from that moment, this became one of the staples everytime we are in Clark, Pampanga...

Fontilla's bulaluhan. This is not a cozy or fine dining resto that you would really expect. Literally, it is a local canteen inside the Air Force City, near the shools and other companies inside the base, (trust me, their bulalo is very good).

You have to go 1st at the small screen window to give your orders, their bulalo is 170.00 and is good for 2-3 persons, it is served hot with soups and some calamansi, sili and fish sauce on the side.

Their bulalo is very simple, they served it steamingly hot with meat and onion strings (no other extra ingredients like pechay, potato and corn). The meat is very tender plus the flavorful soup (as in super lambot yung karne and the soup, beefy talaga, i can even eat the sabaw and rice only, plus the calamansi, patis and sili). Perfect for some cups of steamed rice and a bottle of cold softdrinks.

They also have other viands like chicken roll, lechon kawali, menudo, ampalaya, etc (just like in any other carinderias).

If you came from Speedway, take the rotonda and turn right to the 1st corner, straight ahead then turn left on the 1st spotlight, you will see the hotel stotsenburg, before the intersection infront of the hotel, you will see a traffic outpost, make a right turn into it, then another left turn beside an old abandoned building, straight ahead and a you'll bump into a local school, turn right, straight ahead and you will see the fontilla's bulaluhan.
