Casiguran is LOVE

It was friday late afternoon when i came home from Morong, Bataan with my officemates, My husband and I decided for a quick summer ride to Casiguran, Aurora on the following morning. We left Sta.Rosa at around 5:30 am, passed the Pantabangan-Aurora road, had a quick stop and gas up at Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija, then went straight to Casiguran, Aurora. This ain't our 1st time because we 1st saw the beauty of Casiguran last May, 2013.
Compared with our previous Casiguran trip.

Last 2013, we hired a van that can bring us to this very wonderful paradise. It took us 8 hours on a motorcycle ride to see the beauty of Casapsapan beach, the rough roads are about 40% now compared last 2013 when several bridges and highways are under construction.
After 3 years, we geared up and rode our mxi 125 and spent a 5 hour ride ( the van we had back then was an 8 hour ride). We only experienced 2 long rough roads which are very passable because the DPWH is continously doing road improvements in Casiguran, Aurora.

Finally, after a long tough ride, thanks to my husband who always endures the battle whenever i go for a back ride with him... around 10:30 am when we arrived at the town proper of Casiguran. Went straight to their market to grab some fresh fish (we got blue marlin belly which costs 170.00/kl, this is so winner!), and other things we need for our ride and camp by the beach (off lotion, "katol", water and some local fruits as our snack). We had our lunch at a carinderia near ermita hill (yes, casiguran also has their own ermita hill) and had a 30 minute drive to Casapsapan beach (i am so totally excited).

Upon reaching Casapsapan (the roads from town proper to Casapsapan is totally different way back 3 years ago, the development is very good but i hope when everything is easily accessible, Casiguran could somehow preserve the beauty of their beaches), we immediately took a rest from the 5 hour ride. My husband tried to set up our tent but when the caretaker made an offer for us in a very affordable price for their overnight cottages, we both decided that we'll still put up our tent and will also get the room (in case there will be rainfall). After fixing our things, we took a short nap, went to the next sitio (to biy some ice and another kilo of freshly caught fish) and took a dip before the sun sets (the view has not change, the clear blue sky, white polvoron-like sand, the waves hustling in different directions, yes only in Casapsapan you can see the waves heading to different directions, only the crablets along the shorelines seems missing and the corals are hidden under the water because of the tide, but still Casiguran is love)

Beautiful cloud formations

For dinner, the resort offers "paluto" service, they pan grilled our blue marlin belly and the result was oh soooo gooooodddd!!! (I am never a fan of fish dishes but what the blue marlin belly tastes will definitely be one of my favorites, the meat is juicy, not dry, very tender and you can really taste the natural sweetness of the fish meat). My husband had a short drinking session with the caretaker and we decided to sleep at around 9:00 pm (BTW, the electricity in Casapsapan is from 6 pm to 6 am only because they are powered with generators).

Pan-grilled Fish belly
I woke up at 6 am, waited for the sun rise, took some photos and packed up our things as we checked out at 8am. The caretaker served us our breakfast, another pan grilled fish meat that is so healthy to eat, some coffee and bananas.

Sunrise on a good Sunday morning
We left the resort before the clock strikes at 8 am, had to stop on every wonderful views that we witnessed along the road and got home at 2:00 in the afternoon.
